OUR STORY

Central Oklahoma Dance Company (CODC) is a holistic, community-oriented, professional and recreational ballet academy and company located in Norman, Oklahoma. We provide the central Oklahoma dance region with professional, quality ballet, modern and contemporary education and creative development for children and adults.

Formed in 2018 by Sterlin Mosley, Catie Tramel and Aaron Addonizio with the aim of providing at the highest quality of contemporary and classical dance education to students of identities. We believe that the gift of dance is its ability to uplift, inspire and unite people of all communities. Large portions of CODC’s tuition goes to support educational dance programs to aid student’s in need in pursuing their dreams.

We are more than simply a dance school as we aim to teach our students the holistic life skills necessary to succeed in life and in the professional dance world. Fostering the dancer in areas such as nutritional education, cross-training exercise, stress management, time management, emotional health and creative and cognitive development will aid dancers in achieving longevity in dance or whatever their chosen path.

Our company Central Oklahoma Ballet Theatre is the CODC’s inclusive professional ballet company dedicated to supporting the creative and professional dreams of dancers and choreographers of all identities.
