Jade McAnally

Jade McAnally, from Columbia, SC,  began her dance training with Hillary and Gabor Toth at the Southeastern School of Ballet. She received additional training while attending summer programs at the School of American Ballet (SAB) in New York City and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB). In 2013 she moved to Carlisle, Pennsylvania to train year round at CPYB under the direction of Marcia Dale Weary, Darla Hoover, Alecia Good-Boresow and Nicholas Ade. While at CPYB, she had the honor of performing many Balanchine ballets including George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, Valse Fantasie, Emeralds, and Raymonda Variations. Upon graduating, Jade was offered a Butler Fellow position at Ballet Austin and the following year accepted a position with Ballet Arizona’s Studio Company. While with Ballet Arizona, Jade had the privilege of dancing in many of Ib Andersen’s productions as well as dancing lead roles with the School of Ballet Arizona. Most recently, she was contracted to dance with Oklahoma City Ballet’s Studio Company for the 19/20 season. Jade is very excited and honored to be working with Central Oklahoma Dance Company this season!

Emma Knowlson

Emma Knowlson was trained at Charlotte Ballet, under Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux and Patricia McBride, and spent summers at the School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet before graduating from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and joining Oklahoma City Ballet’s second company. She has competed at the Youth America Grand Prix final and won several awards including first place in Winston Salem. 

While training at UNCSA under Susan Jaffe, Knowlson performed works such as Frederick Ashton’s Symphonic Variations, George Balanchine’s Serenade and Concerto Barocco, Marius Petipa’s Paquita and Raymonda, Ethan Stiefel’s The Nutcracker, and Michel Fokine’s Les Sylphides.

Kristin Kren

Kristin Kren is a Mississippi native, with over 20 years of experience in ballet. She began training at Coast Youth Ballet Academy and then commuted to New Orleans to dance with Delta Festival Ballet and train at their school, Giacobbe’s Academy of Dance. She then had training and choreography opportunities with the dance department at Birmingham-Southern College in Alabama, where she received some additional training with the Alabama Ballet. Summer trainings included the Rock School in Philadelphia, PA, and Ballet Magnificat in Jackson, MS. Kristin was also with the Corpus Christi Ballet as a soloist, until she moved to Oklahoma. In Oklahoma, Kristin received her degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Oklahoma, and has practiced as a Registered Dietitian in Norman for several years specializing in treating eating disorders. Kristin has enjoyed training with the Oklahoma City Ballet in the adult division and dancing at the Oklahoma City Ballet Conservatory as well.  Kristin in thrilled to have this opportunity to express the love of this art in performing with Central Oklahoma Dance Theater.

Catie Tramel

Catie Tramel is a native of Colorado. She studied Vaganova technique under German Zamuel, Oleg Dedogryuk, and David Taylor. After high school, she chose to study in the OU School of Dance. At the time, it was ranked #1 in the United States for dance programs. She danced as a Company Apprentice with the Oklahoma Festival Ballet four seasons, graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor's Degree in Dance Education in 2014. While working on her undergraduate capstone, Catie worked extensively with OU students and professors to perfect good teaching practices. She has choreographed and performed original works and taught workshops over international dance forms, stage makeup, athlete nutrition, ballet, and modern dance. An energetic and amiable ballet instructor, she has a keen interest in developing the self-aware dancer. Catie coaches students to have gumption and pursue excellence within each student’s custom-designed anatomy in order to promote correct technique and prevent injury. Catie has performed throughout the Southwest in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Kansas, and internationally in Indonesia. She has taught for Zamuel Ballet School (Colorado Springs, CO) and Julia's Academy of Dance (Norman, OK) in ballet technique, modern and contemporary, stretch/conditioning, and pre-pointe.
